Anthony M. “Tony” Anemone, age 57, of Newark, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.

Tony worked for Midway Gulf from the mid 1970’s into the 1980’s before operating tow trucks and tractor trailers for many years.

Tony enjoyed going to flea markets and car shows, watching drama, crime and game shows, listening to Elvis, playing drums, cooking and making fudge.

Survivors include his wife, Yvette Anemone, who he met 25 years ago; his mother, Essie Pettitt; his sons, Michael Anemone, Robert Hartman and Jonathon Hartman; his sister, Donna Ciarlone (George); his brother, Bobby Anemone; his grandchildren, Angelina Anemone and Anthony Anemone; his nephew, Jeffrey Ciarlone and his cats, Rusty, Bandit, Cuddles and Donna.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, October 14 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis Street, Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 12 noon. Burial will be private.
