Obituary for Jeffrey William Todd

Wilmington - Jeffrey William Todd, 54, passed onto eternal peace on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 after a long illness. He was born on March 23, 1964 in Niagara Falls, NY and moved with his family to Wilmington in 1967. Jeff attended Mt. Pleasant School District schools and went on to receive an Associate Degree from Del Tech, Wilmington Campus. He was employed for several years as a file clerk for the law office of Gary Aber. He willingly served as a deacon for his church and ministered to others.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father, William H. Todd. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Todd of Wilmington; his sister, Mary Ng (Paul) of Diablo, CA, and his brother Christopher Todd (Leslie) of Moorestown, NJ. He is also survived by nephews, Caleb and Joshua Ng, Kevin Todd and niece, Caitlyn Todd along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was known for his dry wit and easy disposition. He was never heard to complain. He loved the outdoors, especially spending parts of his summers at Lake Luzerne in the Adirondacks. One would see him walking each day; he might stop to chat with the owner of an antique car and end up being taken for a short ride. He loved being taken on fishing trips and participated in some pretty big whopper stories. He loved and was loved by his family and his many relatives and friends.

A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on Saturday, June 16th at Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, 503 Duncan Road, northern Wilmington at 3:00 pm. Friends and relatives may visit the family at 2 pm. in the church sanctuary.

The family wishes to thank the personal of Foulk Manor South for their loving care of Jeff.
