Obituary for Katherine E Becker
Katherine E. Becker, age 63, of Bear, formerly of Claymont, went home to be with The Lord on Monday, June 18, 2018.
Kathy worked at Howard Johnson on Naaman’s road as a cook for many years. She enjoyed writing, cooking, and watching her favorite TV shows. Kathy loved animals, especially her dog.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Audrey Becker; and her siblings, James Becker, Kenneth Becker, Peter Becker and Paul Becker.
Survivors include her siblings, Audrey Becker, Charles Becker, Jr (Kathy), Cindy Clendenning (David) and Rosemarie Carter; and nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, June 21 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 East Justis Street, Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
