Matthew T. Neidlinger, age 40, of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018.
Matt attended Thomas McKean High School. He enjoyed fishing and was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins. He also loved fast cars and the show Street Outlaws. Most of all, Matt was a family man and would do anything for his loved ones.
Matt was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Baynes; his aunts, Shirley Legeza, and Carol Morris; and uncles, George Neidlinger and John Neidlinger.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Chrissy Neidlinger of Wilmington; his daughters, Debra Neidlinger, Lisa Neidlinger and Courtney Neidlinger all of Wilmington; his brother, Eric Neidlinger of Pottsville, PA; his father, Thomas Baynes of Pottsville, PA; his aunts, Bonnie Barry and Brenda Neidlinger Kukish, who was like a mother to him; his uncles, Dennis Neidlinger and Randy Neidlinger; his nieces and nephews, Kay Neidlinger and Quintin Neidlinger of Minersville, PA and Jennifer Owen, Madison Owen and James Owen of Middletown; Matt is also survived by numerous cousins and loving family and friends.
A Celebration of Matt’s life will be held on Sunday, October 28. For location and more information please contact the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Matt’s memory may be made to a fund to benefit his daughter’s educations at PNC Bank under “Neidlinger Girls”.
