Thomas H. “Thom” Walker, Jr., age 71, of Fort Myers, Florida, went Home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 19, 2018.
Thom was born and raised in Salem, New Jersey. He graduated in 1966 from Penns Grove High School. He received his PhD in Naples, Florida. Thom enjoyed fishing. He was an environmentalist, using his bicycle for transportation and performing many more actions for the environment. He was a beekeeper and enjoyed caring for animals. Thom liked to spend his time researching his family genealogy and he loved the Beatles and raising his miniature pinscher’s in Florida.
Thom was preceded in death by his father, Thomas H. Walker, Sr.; his brother, Robert Frank Walker, Sr.; and his nephew; Jason Scott Walker.
Survivors include his mother, Winnie Walker; his brother, Henry David Walker, Sr; his sister, Mary Elizabeth Robbins; his niece, Helena Seagraves Saddler; and his nephew, David H. Krick and his beloved dogs, Casz Anne and Ruby Rose.
Services and Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Thom’s memory may be made to the animal rescue of your choice.
