Aimee Wroten

Aimee Diane Dooley Wroten, age 48, of Wilmington, formerly of Peoria, Illinois, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2022.

Aimee graduated from Limestone High School in Bartonville, IL in 1992 and Illinois Central College in Peoria, IL. She worked at Bank of America for 25 years.

Aimee enjoyed the beach and spending time with her family and friends. She was very active in T1D with JDRF.

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, John; son, John Jr.; daughters, Danielle (Jason), Olivia, and Kaleigh; father, Eric Dooley and mother, Diane Dooley (Lupe); six grandchildren; brothers, Michael (Jennifer) and Daniel (Vicki); sister-in-law Joann; mother-in-law Josephine; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be at noon on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Nichols – Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.
