Albert “Archie” Emory, Jr, age 49, of Wilmington, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019.
Archie was a 1987 graduate of Christiana High School. He was self employed. Archie was a member of Faith City Church. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, bowling and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children, Dayla Emory and Aiden Emory; his parents, Albert and Ann Emory; his sister, Ann “Sugar” Emory; his special nephew, David “DJ” Houser and special niece, Alessa Emory; his great nephew, David “Bubba” Houser and a host of aunts, uncles, and other extended family.
Funeral Services will be at 2 pm on Thursday, August 29 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 1 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Archie’s memory may be made to the Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
