Alberto “Berto” Valdez-Orozco, age 22, of Wilmington, transitioned unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
Berto attended McKean High School and worked at HyPoint Dairy Farms for the past 3 years. He believed in Jesus as the Son of God. He enjoyed video games and watching UFC. Berto loved his time with his family and friends, while cooking carne asada on the grill and listening to loud music. He gave his mom a kiss and a hug every day and night.
Berto is survived by his parents, Alcadio Valdez and Librada Orozco Saavedra and his siblings, Eliset, Silvia, Araceli, Cristian and Sarai.
Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Friday, January 3 at CATALYST COMMUNITY CHURCH, 410 DENVER ROAD WILMINGTON, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
