Alice Griffith

Alice Faye Griffith, age 65, of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Alice was taken too soon. She is now a beautiful angel by her Father’s side. Alice took care of everyone and enjoyed helping people.

Alcie was preceded in death by her mother, Lorena Virts and her brother, Vernon Laing.

Survivors include her husband, Travis Griffith, SR; her children, Travis Griffith (Kiesha) and Tina Griffith; her siblings, Bridgetta Messing, John C. Laing, Laura Laing, Leon Laing and Freddy Laing; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

“If butterflies fly in Heaven, please surround my mother with them and tell her it’s from all of us.
Tell her I love her and miss her and when she turns to smile, place a kiss on her cheek and hug her for a while.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, May 19 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11 am. Burial will be private.
