Alice M. Smith, age 78, of Newark, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020.
Alice was a 1960 graduate of Pennsylvania School of the Deaf. She was a seamstress by trade. Alice enjoyed crafting and bowling with the deaf league at Prices Corner. She was member of the Wilmington Deaf Club.
Alice was preceded in death by her brothers, Gordon Agnew and Bruce Agnew.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 48 years, Venton “Jack” Smith; her daughters, Marjorie Varley (Morgan) and Lucy Williams (Anthony Sr); her sister, Eleanor Primiano; and her grandchildren, Anthony Williams Jr and Noah Varley.
Services and burial will be private.
