Allin B. Collins, age 66 of Wilmington, formerly of California passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017.
Al attended the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in computer science. He then worked as a computer programmer for many years in Silicon Valley, California. Al enjoyed cooking, watching his grandson playing sports and he was a big San Francisco sports fan.
Al was preceded in death by his son, Brian Collins; his former spouse, Gail Burris; his mother, Elizabeth Collins and his sister, Linda Collins.
Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Collins of Wilmington, DE; his brother, Duane Collins of California; his sister, Melissa Coleman (Bill) of California; his grandson Kyle Collins and other extended family.
A Celebration of Al’s Life will be held at 4pm on Wednesday, July 26 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis Street, Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 3pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Al’s memory would be appreciated to the Helen Graham Cancer center.
