Amanda Ward

Amanda Christine Ward, age 31, of Bear, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

Amanda was born and raised in Kirkwood, Delaware. She attended William Penn High School, in New Castle.

Amanda was a giving and loving person who had a big heart. She especially loved her grandmother (Mom Mom) dearly and would often call just to say she loved her and goodnight.

Amanda loved animals and would help her mother take care of the stray cats around the neighborhood.

Amanda had a passion for hair and makeup. She loved to change the color of her hair and did often. She had a desire to become a hairdresser someday.

Amanda had some struggles in her life and was trying very hard to overcome them. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Amanda is preceded in death by her father, John Hall.

She is survived by her mother, Sandra Christine Ward; grandmother, Betty Ward; brothers, Christopher Ward and Joseph Haugh; Aunt, Pamela Ward; Uncle, Frank Ward; many loving cousins, Mark Ward, Nicholas Ward, Vicki Ormsby, Rebecca Fulton and Eric Zane.

Celebration of Life will be private.
