Amanuel Kiflemariam, age 49, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022.
Aman attended the University of Delaware and earned a degree in Plant Science and Biology. He worked at Stein Haskell Lab for over 23 years.
Aman was a member of St. Michaels the Archangel Orthodox church where he volunteered to cut the grass in his younger years.
Aman enjoyed being a handy man. He loved spending time with his family and especially building tracks for model trains.
Aman was preceded in death by his father Afeworki Kiflemariam who passed in 1999.
Survivors include with his wife of 16 wonderful years, Mihret Tsegay; his children, Nabell Kiflemariam, Afeworki Kiflemariam Jr., Gideon Kiflemariam, Siyoma Kiflemariam, and Noah Kiflemariam, his mother, Roman Tquabo, his sisters Tiblets Kiflemariam, Lemlem Kiflemariam, Hadas Kiflemariam, Asgedet Kiflemariam, and Haimanot Kiflemariam and his brother Teame Kiflemariam.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 26 at St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox Church, 2300 W Huntington Dr. Wilmington, where visitation will begin at 8:30 AM. Burial will immediately follow at All Saints Cemetery
Contributions can be made to Mihret Tsegay to establish an education fund for the kids.
