Age 83 of Newport, passed peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in the presence of her family.
Ann was a homemaker who was devoted to her family. She will be remembered for her loving heart and generous spirit by everyone who knew her.
Ann was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church. She enjoyed visits to Delaware Park, watching old black and white movies, football on Sundays and playing Bingo at St. Matthew's.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Edwin A. Dalecki, Sr, in 2011; by her brother, David Singles and her sister, Jeanette Igo. Survivors include
her children, Edwin A. Dalecki, Jr.(Shirley) of Lewes, DE; Theresa Ann Dalecki Zimmer of Milton, DE; and Kevin C.Dalecki(Belynda)of Newport and Milton, DE; her brothers, George Singles and Francis Singles; her grandchildren, William, Jenna, Jessica, Tamara, Lara, Amanda, Mollie, Jesse, Denise and Aliya; and her 3 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12 Noon, Friday, November 2nd at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 809 S. Broom St., Wilmington. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm, Thursday, November 1st at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery, Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington.
Ann's family wishes to acknowledge the staff of Season's Hospice and offer a special thank you to Darlene Nuttal and Barbara Congo.
The family suggests contributions in Ann's memory to either Season's Hospice or the American Kidney Association.
