Anthony (Tony) Dello Buono, III, of Newark, DE, age 57, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
Tony was a 1986 graduate of Howard Vocational Technical High School. Tony was a truck driver for 38 years. Hauling product out of the Wilmington Port at the end of his career. In his earlier years, Tony was an avid bowler, dart player, and more recently he enjoyed being part of the Fantasy Football League. He loved sports, his passion was Philadelphia sports. His number one sports team was the "Eagles" which was evident with him being a season ticket holder since 1986. Especially the tailgating that goes along with the home games. He would be out the door by 5:30 a.m. to pick-up his brothers and friends and all the essentials needed. Then on the way they went to a 1:00 p.m game. Tony was a quiet man except when it came to sports or politics which is when he would show his true passion on the subjects. He was a wonderful husband and father willing to participate is things outside his comfort zone that they wanted of course just as long as it was around the eagle games.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret E. Dello Buono and his brother Vincent Dello Buono.
Tony is survived by his spouse, Kim Mynuk-Dello Buono, who he shared the last 22 years with; his sons, Anthony Dello Buono, IV (Kelsey) and Vincent Mynuk (Ginger); daughter, Victoria (Tori) Mynuk; his dad, Anthony Dello Buono Jr.; his brothers, Daniel, Nicholas and Jason; his grandsons, Asher and Jamison; his mother-in-law, Marlene Jackson; his sisters-in-law, Karen Selvage (Glenn), Kristina Jackson, Karil Henry and Kathy Jackson; his brother-in-law, John Jackson, IV; his six nephews, 2 nieces, five great-nephews, two great-nieces and many more extended family; and his buddies, Silver, Toby, Opie and Beau.
Funeral Services will be at Noon on Monday, November 4, 2024, at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
