Anthony Orlando Peak Sr., age 70, of Upper Darby, PA, formerly of Wilmington, DE, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2024.
Tony graduated from P.S. DuPont High school in 1971, where he played baseball and football. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Japan. Tony worked at the Watkins Avenue Senior Center.
Tony was an avid Oakland/ Las Vegas Raiders fan and he especially loved Bo Jackson. He enjoyed dining out, watching sports, watching movies, especially horror movies, and spending time with his family.
Tony is survived by his wife, Rosalind Peak; his children, Anthony Orlando Peak Jr. (Tifney), Erica I. Peak, Dion Peak (Tia), and thier mother Sandra Peak; step children, Danzel and James (Kelly);brother, Arthur McDaniel Jr; sisters, Leana Peak and Violet Peak (Greg); numerous grandchildren, his furbaby Buster; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.
