Anthony M. Wickersham, age 31, of Florida, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2022, and joined his family members in Heaven.
Anthony attended the Delaware Military Academy and St. Elizabeth’s, where he played soccer. In addition, he attended Our Lady of Fatima Church.
Anthony truly loved his job as a sous-chef. He was a free spirit with a kind soul and enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved all animals, especially his beloved dogs Smokey and Carlson, his cat, Anubis, and his pot-belly pig, Gully.
Anthony is survived by his son, Wolf S. Wickersham, and his son’s mother, Alexis Pires; mother, Lisa Shuler and her husband, James; father, David Wickersham, and his wife Noell; sister Madison Shuler, brothers Eion Shuler, Nick Wickersham and Jeffrey Wilson and grandmothers, Donna DeAscanis and Lucy Hitchcock.
He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Dave Wickersham, and Bill Sainni
Services will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Nichols- Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis St, Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to David Wickersham or Lisa Shuler for Wolf's educational fund.
