Arthur J. McMilin “Artie”, age 69, of New Castle, formerly of Newport, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022
Artie was an avid Pez collector and enjoyed Ebay. He also enjoyed watching TV/ game shows and movies. Some of his favorites were American Pickers, Game Show Network, Reelz and Marvel/ SyFi Movies.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janel in 2000, mother, Ida McMilin; father, Arthur McMilin; sister-in-law, Susie Ferretti; brothers-in-law, Jim Herd, Pezavia White, Dale Montgomery and Larry Montgomery, and his mother in law, Elizabeth Montgomery.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Cynthia McMilin; daughter, Jennifer McMilin (Dave); brother, Vincent Ferretti; sisters, Theresa Herd and Linda White; grandchildren, Warren, Kayla and Brianna and great grandchildren, Ayden, Laylanee and Adrian.
Services will start at 11:30am on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Nichols - Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804. Visitation will begin at 11am.
The family asks for all those in attendance to please wear a mask.
