Barbara W. Gestwicki, age 86, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at the home of her daughter.
Born in Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late William F. Whiteside and Florence and Robert Fraim.
Barbara grew up in the flats and graduated from Wilmington High School. She retired from Hercules and Delaware Park.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Gestwicki; her brothers, William and Robert Whiteside; her sister, Carol Lynn Whiteside and her son-in-law, John J. Tussey.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Susan Tussey; her grandchildren, John Hunter (Jess), James (Genna), Ryan and Calista; her great grandchildren, Owen, Harper and Everett; 2 nieces, Patricia Rowe and Leslie Haight and 2 nephews, Larry and Stephen Whiteside.
Services and burial were private.
