Age 65, of Decatur, AL, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2007.
Ben was a 1960 graduate of Conrad HS and while living in Wilmington, worked at Howard Johnson's on Concord Pike. He served for 22 1/2 years in the military, retiring in 1993.
Ben was the son of the late Robert and Alpha Carey. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons, David and Scott; daughter, Shannon Eslick; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; a brother Robert Michael Carey; and an aunt, Elinor Stratton of Wilmington.
Services will be in Decatur, AL.
