Bernadine E. "Bernie" Clough

Bernie passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016. She was an employee of Storm's Shoes at both Midway Shopping Center and Christiana Mall for 20 years. Bernie was a member of Peniel United Methodist Church.
Bernie was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, William T. Clough in 2002. She is survived by her son, Robert R. Chapman of Wilmington; her daughter, Deborah C. Lloyd (Paul) of Wilmington; her stepchildren, Sharon Hunt, Michael T. Clough and Kimberly Ruhl (Mark), all of Kansas; her grandchildren, Kimberly Sung (David), Christine A. Chapman, Kayla E. Lloyd, Andrew J. Lloyd, Oliva Hunt and Anna Clough; her great grandchildren, Elena Sung and Jonathan Sung; her sisters, Helen and Irene; her brothers, Ben, Vince and Walter; her daughter-in-law, Josephine Chapman; her son-in-law, Tristram Hunt and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be at 11 AM on Saturday, January 16 at PENIEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 115 E. Market St., Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 AM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions in Bernie's memory to either Peniel UMC or Heartland Hospice, 256 Chapman Rd., Suite 102, Newark, DE 19702.
