Bettie Joe Duonnolo, age 58 formerly of Quaker Hill Place section of Wilmington and formerly of Overlook Colony, Claymont, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late Domenick Daniel and Ann Viola (Miles) Duonnolo. Bettie Joe enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and in the last couple of years had taken to the vegetarian lifestyle, She collected "Angel" figurines and loved keeping her house and taking care of her cats. Bettie was an advocate for breast cancer awareness in memory of her grandmother. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant in a local nursing home.
Preceeded in death by her son, Charlie Foraker, Jr; granddaughter, Dejah Foraker; and her brother Ralph and John Duonnolo.
Bettie Joe is survived by her three daughters, Elva M. Sawyer (finance' of Joseph Hutchison); Marsha M. Foraker and Kelly A. Ashback; seven grandchildren, Dominic and Samatha Spitz; Denzel Brown, Bettie Joe Parra-Foraker, Kaylee Foraker, Jasmine and Michael Ashback; two great grandchildren, Larry Randolph Hutt III and Hayden Elizabeth Vickers; one sister Elva (Ronald) Talley.
