Betty L. Gold, age 86, of Bear, formerly of Newport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
Betty graduated from A. I. Dupont High School in 1956. She managed the Hi Ho Tavern in Newport for over 30 years.
Betty loved eating crabs and spending time with her family, especially her grand children.
Betty is preceded in death by her son, Bruce Prickett, and brothers, Ray Graham and Sonny Graham.
Survivors include her son, Aaron Prickett (Traci); daughters, Karen Stewart (Mark) and Kathy Jones (Ted); brother, Roy Graham; sister, Eleanor Alitzer; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
