Brandt Edward Farley, age 52, of Hockessin passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 11, 2022.
Brandt was a 1988 graduate of Alexis I. duPont High School. He retired from his career as a firefighter/EMT from the Airforce. He also served as a heavy equipment operator in the Seabees Unit MCB21 in the Navy. Brandt was also a current member of Hockessin Fire Company and a former member of the Mill Creek Fire Company. He enjoyed his mustang and going to the Cecil County Dragway and also his competitive military shooting. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the “the light of his life”.
Brandt is survived by his children, James M. Farley (Fiancee Heather Hudson), Jessica M. Foltz (Timothy), and Sheila E. Carello (Kyle) and their mother, Vicki L. Farley; his parents, Michael K. and Georgia L. Farley; his brothers, Michael B. Farley and Randall J. Farley (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Bentley “Taz” Carello and Kaylee “Turtle” Foltz and other extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 19 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Wilmington, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 9 am. Burial will be private.
