Age 64 of Newark, formerly of New Castle, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 27, 2013.
Bruce retired, in 2008, from the Pepsi Company where he worked for over 25 years. He was a veteran, serving in the US Navy. Bruce was a founding member of the Diamond State Bass Association and a member of Teamsters Local 830.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Ruth Henderson and sister, Sharon Davidson. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, of 33 years, Shirley; daughter, Donna Shaver and her husband, Kevin; son, Bruce, Jr; stepdaughter, Tammy Brown and husband David; sister, Sandy Henderson; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; and his niece and nephew.
Funeral services will be 11am, Monday, March 4th at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 10am. Burial will be private.
