Bruce went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.
Bruce attended Conrad High School and was an active member of Richardson Park UMC. He retired from Amtrak in 2004. Bruce was a car enthusiast and enjoyed traveling, sailing and spending time with his family.
Bruce was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Ashley; father, Robert and brother, Raymond. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Charlene; children, Robert (Diane), Jon (JoEllen), Karen (Jason), Paul and Samantha,: sisters, Katrina and Nanette; his mother, Ada;14 grandchildren, Brandon, Sarah, Josh, Ethan, Gavin, Owen, Beckham, Logan, Declan, Jason, Dallas, Alexis, Kyle and Cole; and his beloved pets Lisa and Patches.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017 at RICHARDSON PARK UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 11 N. Maryland Ave, Wilmington, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
The family suggests contributions in Bruce’s memory to Seasons Hospice.
