Carl, age 84, of Newport, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 after a short illness.
Carl was a 1951 graduate of Conrad High School. He retired from Kirkwood Dodge after 40 years of service. Carl was an avid fisherman and woodworker, but his greatest joys were his family, Sunday barbeques by the pool and his cat, Rosie.
Carl was preceded in death by his mother, Mary; son, Garey and brother, George.
Carl is survived by his wife of 65 years, Leona Cox Weber; daughter, Linda Shatley (Leonard); grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew and Daniel Shatley and Melissa Weber; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Dylan Norris and brother, Floyd.
Services were private.
