Age 70, of Newark, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 1, 2011.
Carol worked at General Motors for 27 years before retiring in 2000. She loved reading, dancing, family events and her dog, Coco.
Carol was preceded in death by 2 sons, Michael and Christopher and her brother Larry Fisher. Survivors include her son, Tommy Comegys; her daughters, Diana Comegys, Jeannie Gillespie, Holly Comegys, Joyce Lienig and Paula Clymer; her sisters, Sandra States and Donna Slavin; and 39 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 AM on Saturday, May 7th at the Chapel in Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. DuPont HWY, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10 AM. Burial will be in the adjoining Memorial Park.
The family requests donations in Carol's memory to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, 111 West 11th St., Suite 3, Wilm., DE 19801.
