Carolyn A. Barone, age 70, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at home.
Carol retired from GM in 2006 after 30 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts, decorating, and gardening.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Bill Rucker and her stepmother, Clemmie.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Anthony Barone; son, Rodney Barone and his wife Shannon, daughter, Julie Barone; mother, Betty Garyantes; siblings, Sharon Mullen and her husband Richard, Larry Rucker and his wife Joann and Debi Rucker and grandchildren, Ariya, Nicholas, Kye’on Barone and Kenneth Kilgoe, Jr.
Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Wednesday, August 3 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will be private.
