Carolyn M. "Sis" Jensen

Carolyn, of Georgetown, formerly of Wilmington, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017.
Carolyn was a 1961 graduate of Catonsville High School in Baltimore, Maryland. She was an active member of Georgetown Presbyterian Church in Georgetown and a former member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Wilmington. Carolyn enjoyed getting together for luncheons and games with friends.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Delbert O. Jensen, II in 1997, and by her father, Dorsey Whiteley; her mother, Frances Chaney; her step-father, John Chaney; and brothers, John Timothy Chaney and Norman Whiteley.
She is survived by her children, JoAnn Thompson, Bonnie Chavez, Karen Berry (Michael), Kim Wlosinski (Greg) and Delbert O. Jensen, III (Lori); her 10 grandchildren, Kristin Mau (Justin), Alyssa Wlosinski, Michael Jensen, Jason Berry, Mark Wlosinski, Ashley Berry, Magdalena Chavez, Dominick Chavez, Aletta Jensen, and Rachel Jensen and 3 great grandchildren, Kolby Jensen, Rachel Mau and Kamerin Mau.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon on Thursday, March 2 at ST. MARK'S UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1700 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions in Carolyn's memory to either St. Mark's United Methodist Church or Georgetown Presbyterian Church.
