Carolyn J. Spencer, of Wilmington, went to be with her maker on Tuesday April 5, 2022 at the age of 70.
Carol graduated from Conrad High School in 1969. She worked for DuPont which became Dade Behring for many years before she retired.
Carol was a member of Love of Christ Church. She enjoyed crafting, drawing, and making handmade gifts for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Robinson and her father, Robert Hunter.
Carol is survived by her son, Brandon Spencer; sister, Patty Conrad (Frederic), niece, Deborah Rowe (Robert); nephew, Robert Dresden (Dawn); and cousins, Donna Wirt and Gina Picchi
Services will be held at 11am on Monday April 11, 2022 at Nichols – Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, with a visitation starting at 10am. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, 3300 Lancaster Pike Wilmington, DE 19805.
