Catherine passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014. She had worked at Sears for 15 years until retiring in 1984. Catherine was an original member of Corpus Christi Church, then was a member of St. Matthews Church for over 40 years and most recently was a member of Holy Family Church. She enjoyed bowling at Pleasant Hills, gardening and was an exceptional cook.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Louis, in 2003. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Alberta) and Bernard (Deborah); 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30am on Friday, November 14 at Holy Family Church, 15 Gender Road, Newark, where visitation will begin at 10:30am. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery.
The family would appreciate contributions in Catherine's name to Compassionate Care Hospice, 405 E. Marsh Rd., Newport, De 19804.
