Celestine “Tina” Dorsey-Dixon, born April 23,1968-July 2,2019, age 51, of Wilmington, was called home on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
Tina was a 1986 graduate of Wilmington High School. She was a former member of New Destiny Fellowship.
Tina was a loving person with an optimistic personality. She enjoyed cooking and caring for the homeless.
Tina was preceded in death by her father, George Ross and her partner Charles L. Mays.
Survivors include her children, William J. Dorsey, Mary J. Dixon, and Charmeria Dorsey-Dixon; her mother, Cora Williams; her husband, Willam J. Dixon; her siblings, Desiree West, Betty Dorsey, and Tamika Dorsey; and her grandchildren, Janyla Dorsey, Nascir Dixon, Lazea Moss, Amore Moss, Elijah Gasby, and Kaydence Gasby.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, July 17 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 East Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tina’s memory may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses
