Charles E. Gorman, Sr. age, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Westminster Village in Dover, DE.
Charles was born in Chesapeake City, Md, the son of the late George E. and Pearl (Howell) Gorman. He was a truck driver for 25+ years with Baker Petroleum and then was employed by DELAB in Smyrna, DE for over five years.
He enjoyed woodworking and gardening and spending time with his family especially his great granddaughter, Aaryonna.
Charles was preceded in death by one brother, three sisters and one grandson, Joshua Bower. He was survived by his wife, Joyce (Anderson) Gorman; one son, Charles E. Gorman, Jr.; three daughters, Brenda Saunders, Carol Elliott and Phyllis Gilbert; three brothers, George, Harry and Harold Gorman; two sisters, Pearl Mills and Dorothy Gorman; eight grandchildren Stacey, Nicole, Sandra, Jill, David, Charlene, Albert Jr., and Brian; two great grandchildren, Aaryonna Saunders and La'Von Saunders.
All services are private and held at the convenience of the family.
