The Johnson family and friends are greatly mourning the unexpected loss of their son and brother Charles (Chuck) Evans Johnson, Jr., on May 10, 2008.
Chuck was born on May 11, 1978 in Wilmington, DE. He was a free spirit who enjoyed the outdoors, water sports, animals and adventure. Chuck had a big heart, always willing to help others in their time of need, and had the most wonderful sense of humor.
He is survived by his parents, Charles Evans Johnson, Sr. and Patricia (Trish)Lindell Johnson; his stepmother, Barbara Johnson; paternal grandmother, Mary Johnson; his maternal grandfather, Earle R. Lindell, Jr.; his siblings, Ashley & her husband Paul DiBerardino, Eleanor Johnson, Christofer Johnson, and Stefanie & her husband Michael Monahan; his niece, Sofia DiBerardino; his nephews, Zachary, Nolan & Alexander Monahan; his uncles, Earle R. Lindell, III and Jerry Lindell and his companion Jill Batay-Csorba.
His family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 11am, Saturday, May 17th at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 10am. Interment will be private.
