Charles J. McFarland II, age 71, of Wilmington, crossed over on Friday, January 24, 2025.
Mickey grew up in the Forty Acres neighborhood of Wilmington. He worked for Choptank Excavation. Mickey loved watching the Eagles play, going fishing and Sunday drives with the family.
Mickey is preceded in death by his brother, Michael; nephew, Sean; and parents, Patricia and Charles McFarland.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Theresa; sons, Charles, Keith and Scott; daughter, Colleen; brothers, Patrick and Timmy; sisters, Terry, Linda and Maureen; grandchildren, Devin, Zachary, Max and Elizabeth; and friend, Kevin.
Services will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 5:30 PM.
