Charles A. “Chuck” O’Donnell, Jr., age 71, of Wilmington, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
Chuck was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corp from 1965 to 1969. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Chuck was always in good spirits and enjoyed making others laugh.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Cheryl L. O’Donnell; his children, Colleen O’Donnell, Charles “Chuck” O’Donnell, Christie Spry, Shawn O’Donnell and Jesse O’Donnell; his sister, Maureen; his brothers, Joseph and Dennis and his 5 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 11 am to 12 noon on Wednesday, October 31 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 East Justis St. Newport, DE 19804. Burial with military honors will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
