Charlette died after a long illness on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. She worked at the DuPont CO for 30 years at the downtown Wilmington location. Charlette loved her cats.
Charlette was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moore in 1973, and her parents, Charles Rogers and Martha Swanson. She is survived by her sister, Jacqueline "Cookie" Rogers; her nephew, Charles Thomas Rogers and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be 12 noon on Saturday, June 4 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis Street, Newport, where visitation will begin at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery, Newport.
In lieu of flowers Charlette's family would appreciate contributions in her memory to either, Delaware Humane Association, 701 A Street, Wilmington, DE 19801, or Delaware SPCA, 455 Stanton-Christiana Road, Newark, DE 19713 or Alzheimer's Association - DE Chapter, 240 N. James St., Newport, DE 19804.
