Charlotte H. Wade (Berry), age 92, of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
Charlotte was born on April 9, 1932 in Spring City, PA. She was born in the 2nd floor front bedroom of her Parent’s home. With her Father’s businesses, they relocated often living in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and California returning to Pennsylvania where she graduated from Kutztown High School.
In 1952, she married her childhood sweetheart Charles after he returned from the Korean War. They raised three children and celebrated 68 years of marriage before Charles passed away in 2020.
Charlotte was predeceased by husband Charles, granddaughter Jennifer Colenda and great grandson John “Jack” Colenda.
Charlotte is survived by daughters, Velda Dennett(Rod) and Dorie Diaz(Mario); son, Joe Wade(Gina); grandchildren Angela Miller, Vinnie Guglielmo, Alison Gondos, Andrew Wade; great grandchildren Rodney Colenda, Randall Miller, Anthony Miller, Angelina Miller, Athena Guglielmo, Vincent Guglielmo and Avery Gondos.
Services and burial will be private.
