Christina “Chrissy” Lopresti, age 56, of Wilmington, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 in the comfort of her own home in the presence of her loved ones.
Chrissy was a bartender for over 35 years in the restaurant and bar industry throughout New Castle County. She enjoyed reading books, shooting pool, and watching hockey, especially the Flyers. Chrissy loved to socialize with her friends and loved animals, especially her cats.
Chrissy was preceded in death by her step father, Bob Evely.
Chrissy leaves behind her devoted and loving mother Kathleen "Kathy" Evely, who has always showed her unconditional support and provided limitless care. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Christa Evely; her boyfriend, Thomas Miller; her three children Jaimee (Jason) Thomas, Stephen Navert (Kristy Gant), and Nikki Navert (Neef Washington) of late former spouse Jon Navert; her four grandchildren Jadrien Thomas, Conner Morgan, Payton Singleton and Declan Navert; closest friend Jacqueline Piner; and her four fur babies KiKi, Alley, Squeak, and Kallie.
Funeral services will be at 11 am on Saturday, September 28 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will be private.
