She was preceded in death by her brother, Charley Sorum in 2004. Survivors include her brother, Scott Sorum; 3 daughters, 4 granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, June 5th, at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 9:30am. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, Lancaster Ave. & DuPont Rd., Wilmington.
The family suggests contributions in Connie's memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., 600 Reed Rd., Ste. 104, Broomall, PA 19008.
