Cynthia M. Anderson Jones, age 56, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of New Castle, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in the presence of her loving family after a 2 year battle with cancer.
Cindy was a 1982 graduate of William Penn High School. She was a dedicated employee of Wilmington Fibre where she worked in quality control for 32 years.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Laurence Anderson.
Survivors include her loving husband of 32 years, Donald Jones; her son, Brandon Jones; her mother, Florence Anderson; her siblings, RuthAnn Johnson (Victor), Laurence Anderson (Terry), Joseph Anderson (Mary Ellen); Robert Anderson (Stacey), David Anderson (Maria) and Kathleen Hopkins (Robert) and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 7 pm on Tuesday, February 11 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 6 pm. Burial will be private.
