Dakota James Mitchell, age 27, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
Cody had a kind heart and a gentle spirit. He took great joy in making others laugh. Cody loved all animals, especially his dogs, Paisley and King. His favorite things were day trips to the Camden Aquarium, the Philadelphia Zoo, amusement parks, and local beaches.
Cody was predeceased by his parents, Reuben C. Mitchell in 2011 and Kathleen M. (Carroll) Mitchell in 1999. He is survived by his aunts: Barbara Honaker (Gary) of New Castle, De and Nancy Fida (Cesare) of Folsom, PA, uncles: Gregory Carroll (Sandie) of Wilmington, DE and Charles Mitchell (Cheryl) of Middletown, DE, and Cody’s longtime partner and fiancé, Nicole Simpers of New Castle, DE.
Burial services will be private.
