Da’mar’cus D. Wilson 10/24/1989 -11/19/2024
Da’mar'cus D. Wilson affectionally called “Mardy” vogued off the dancefloor of life for the final time quietly on November 19, 2024.
October 24,1989 was the day this star was celebrated by his parents Diana M. Bolden and Mark B. Wilson who has preceded him in death. It was also the day Da’mar’cus boogied his way into his eldest sibling, his sister D’Chen’s heart and has filled that space forever. Da’mar’cus was educated (his way) in the public schools of New Castle County Delaware and Philadelphia, Pa. His Interests included dishing the “tea”, curse words, being dramatic, long hair & nails, makeup, music, any telephone device, his sister’s Perry Ellis 360 perfume, computers, and any cheeseburger and french fry combo.
Da’mar’cus enjoyed his life, even the hard parts, and strived to be the best version of himself and that he did!
Da’mar’cus is survived by 8 siblings, D’Chen, Demetrius, Libra, Robin, Byron, So’Bay, Dante, and Mark. He is also loving survived by his niece/sister De’Ja who was the ying to his yang and partner in crime. The rest of his gang are his nieces and nephews Cierra, John, Sh’von and J’von. Da’mar’cus’s “kids” as he adoringly called them were his younger nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Uncle Mardy loved his “kids” and spoiled them rotten, as well as taught them swear words. His “kids” loved him dearly because he was such a kid at heart and fun.
On behalf of Da’mar’cus, a heartfelt thank you to the darlings who cared for, loved, respected and made him smile, he was blessed knowing you. For those that caused hurt, discomfort and falling tears, he forgave you but never forgot.
Please don’t cry because Da’mar’cus performed his last 2-step, just be happy that he danced here for 35 seasons...
**Following the wishes of Da’mar’cus there will not be a service because they are depressing, however there will be one heck of a memorial celebration which will be announced at a later date.
