Daniel Brunet, born Juan Daniel Bocanegra Charríez, age 83, of New Castle DE, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022.
Dan was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Rev.José Bocanegra Acevedo and Juanita Charríez de Bocanegra.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Izlia Loida. Dan is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathleen; his children, Deborah, David (Arlene), Dani, and Daron; his brother, José; and by his niece, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandson.
Dan served for many years as a member and minister in the Church of the Nazarene.
"I'm looking now, just across the river, to where my faith, shall end in sight, There's just a few more days to labor. Then I will take my heavenly flight."
