Age 50, of Tempe, AZ, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
Dan was born August 29, 1958 in Wilmington, DE. He was a graduate of Dickinson Hight School class of 1976 where he was a membber of the baseball team.Following graduation, Dan worked at General Motors, relocating to Arizona, 10 years ago, where he worked in the construction industry.
Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Jean & brother Thomas. He is survived by his father, Percy H. McClelland; daughters, Brooke & Erin McClelland; sister, Kathy Hotmer & her busband, Bruce and their children, Kaitlin and Matthew Hotmer.
A memorial service and celebration of Daniel's life will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 19th, at the Chapel in Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. Dupont Hwy., New Castle, where friends may call after 1:00pm.
The family suggests contributions, in Daniel's memory, to the Helen Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown-Stanton Rd., Newark, DE 19713.
