Darlene McLamb, from New Castle, Delaware, that lived in the Rambleton Acres neighborhood, passed away October 24, 2024. Her son Eric McLamb was by her side holding her hand as she took hers final breath.
Darlene was originally from Boothwyn, Pennsylvania and move to Delaware in the year 1965. Darlene worked at and retired from the closed Avon corporation along Rt 273 in Newark Delaware. Darlene loved her family, her son, and grandchildren with all her heart. She enjoyed going down to the Delaware beaches and going camping. She was most at peace in quiet areas surrounded by nature's beauty. As a young girl she loved music and loved the dance.
Darlene is the daughter of the late Velma and Wilbur McClellan. Her husband Gary K. McLamb Sr. past away suddenly in a motor vehicle accident in 2009.
She is survived by her 2 sisters Fay Kirlin and Carol Quillen Scarpetti, her son Eric Mclamb (Karen Carnell), four grandchildren Autumn McLamb, Lilly McLamb, Derek McLamb, and Viviana McLamb and one great-grandson Ezreal Bignall.
There will be no services and the family is doing a celebration of life for the people that were closest to Darlene.
