Deborah Lynn (Smith) McVeigh, age 69, passed away Saturday May 28, 2022 of liver failure.
Debbie was the daughter of the late William I. Smith and Marilyn E. Smith. She is predeceased by her husband of 45 years John Edward McVeigh III. She is survived by only daughter, Tara Lynn McVeigh (Robert Neal Jr); devoted siblings; Cynthia McGrellis, Laurie Quesenberry (Ken Quesenberry) and Bill (William I.) Smith and niece, Adrienne McGrellis and her family, nephews, Alex McGrellis and his family, Kenny Quesenberry and his family.
Debbie had a keen eye for antiques and collectibles and was very knowledgeable in this area. Debbie loved all kinds of music, from opera to rock. She enjoyed buying nice gifts for everyone and even as a kid just had to see what was under the Christmas tree before the actual day.
She made friends easily at her various jobs - Lab Tech at Stine Haskell duPont, Chimes of Delaware and kept in contact with her High School girlfriends throughout her life. Debbie had nicknames for everyone close to her. We loved her very much and will miss her immensely.
