Dennis F. LaMarra, age 65, of Wilmington DE, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
Dennis worked in Real Estate and was a pilot. He graduated from Upper Darby High School and studied at the University of Pennsylvania. Dennis served in the Merchant Marines and he was a member of St. John the Beloved, Catholic Church. He was a Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed scuba diving, camping, and flying his plane. He will be forever loved & missed by his family, friends & all who knew him.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father Frank LaMarra, his mother Josephine Artese, and his sister Arlene Monti.
Survivors include his children, Dennis A. LaMarra and Sabrina LaMarra, his grandson, Rowan Jackson and his brothers Frank and Robert LaMarra.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 4 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Wilmington, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 2 pm. Burial will be private.
