Destiny R. Leifheit, age 13, of Bear, DE, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 9, 2008.
Destiny was an 8th grade student at Gunning Bedford School. She was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church. Destiny enjoyed writing poetery, roller skating with friends, going to the movies and making bracelets. She was devoted to her family, especially her Mom Mom and Pop Pop.
Destiny is survived by her mother, Michelle Smith and her husband david of Tennessee; father, Adam Fisher; brother Christian of Bear, DE; sisters, Danielle and Kayla both of Tennessee; Great Aunt, Rose Brinegar with whom she lived; maternal grandparents, Karen and George Leifheit, Sr. of Bear, DE; paternal grandfather, Dan Fisher of Newark, DE, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family.
Funeral Services will be 2pm on Wednesday, October 15 in the chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. DuPont HWY., New Castle, where visitation will begin at 1pm. Burial will follow in the adjoining memorial Park.
The family suggests contributions in Destiny's memory to the Delaware Humane Association, 701 A Street, Wilmington, DE 19801
